About

The Ballistic 8 catamaran is a fully custom design and build by UK Sailmakers Brisbane, in development since 2010. It is equipped with custom designed T-foils for full foiling performance. It was originally a 4-point foiler but with the arrival of the SL33 from New Zealand, hydraulic systems were installed allowing the windward board to be raised to reduce overall drag. The boat pacsk up on a trailer very easily for a catamaran so it is the dedicated travelling boat for interstate regattas. The board cases also have the ability to take straight boards for division racing.
